Pat Richie’s presentation will provide you with the knowledge and practice of the skills required for leading a cohesive team. The principles are found in the best selling book, “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” by Patrick Lencioni. This highly interactive workshop will be highlighted by illustrations Richie’s experience since joining with Lencioni. Richie’s has worked with many teams from professional sports, to finance, to high tech. This past year he personally experienced our work and become familiar with issues pork producers face when he toured on of our member’s facilities.

Dr. Brent Pepin – Pipestone Veterinary Services
The impact of African Swine Fever on pigs has become a topic of discussion at nearly every pork industry function for the last several months. Though updates on the current state of ASF globally are important, Dr. Pepin’s presentation will not only provide an ASF update but will dig more deeply into the impact ASF has had on the people in farms which have been affected. In addition, he will show what farms in the US can do now to help their employees understand case presentations, identify the problem sooner than later, and prevent spread in the event of virus entry.
