Individuals interested in becoming a new Pork Quality Assurance Plus™ Advisor will have the opportunity to be certified July 17 at the Minnesota Pork Board Office. Applicant approval and pre-registration is required by July 10.

 

Consumer research by the National Pork Board and other meat industry partners identified the challenges and confusion shoppers face at the meat case.

 

As a result of this research, fresh pork cuts are being given consumer-friendly pork-cut names and labeling information that will help consumers prepare fresh pork.
